About us
Why Questlog?
I am the kind of person who likes to try new things.
I like to visit new restaurants and lunchrooms, try a different option from the menu, show my face in various bars and take friends to new recreational activities.
That variety is fantastic.
But unfortunately, it is still not easy to find new experiences, despite the vast array of websites, apps, companies and organizations that display everything in lists and maps.
Someone once said to me: “In the end, you kind of have to figure it out yourself.”
And that is true. You often come across the same things and the items on the list are quite general. It’s also full of places you’ve already been.
This is where my drive to start Questlog came from: “If only it was at least possible to mark things completed and remove them from the overview.”
With that idea, I embarked on a journey that turned out to be longer than expected. But, the concept is now coming to life!
Questlog is a continuous game of trying new experiences, where everything is turned into Quests.
Not only does this give you a personal overview of things you haven’t done before, but Quests offer a different, more detailed, and concrete offering – one that inspires.

“Making new experiences more visible and easier to try.”
– Questlog Mission Statement –
Value ánd fun
At its core, Questlog is a fun way to get out of the daily routine and try something new. Fun is part of our DNA.
But that is not enough.
Something that troubles me regularly is that there are already so many apps, websites and companies showcasing experiences. Are we really adding something to the market? Are we both fun ánd useful?
The goal of Questlog is to make it as simple as possible to try something new at any moment, whether in hospitality, recreation, culture, or nature.
How? With our daily mission: ‘Making new experiences more visible and easier to try.’
It is fantastic to wake up every day (with a cup of coffee) and work on this ever-present challenge. But despite big plans and plenty of ideas, we’re already behind as we enter this crowded market.
Unfortunately, not everything can be done at once. I have come to terms with that now. We will need to take it step by step; it’s a marathon with choices to be made at every mile. It will be a journey in which I will gladly take you along.
Soon, we’ll be launching the renewed foundation of Questlog as a beta for the very first interested users.
We will then build on that full-time. After all, there is much to do. We aim for quality, so please give us feedback – big or small.
At Questlog, we will continue to work on both fun and value. Both are essential parts of the concept, and we’ll keep expanding on them.
